The secretariat to the SITC is the State IT Advancement Unit (KIT) of the Ministry of Resource Development and IT. KIT also serves as the secretariat to three of the Working Committees, viz. IT Deployment in the Public Sector, IT in Social Development and Developing E-commerce; while the secretariat to the Working Committee on State Geographic Data Coordination is the Department of Land and Survey, and the secretariat to the Working Committee on State ICT Security is the State Computer Services Department.
