Each member of the SITC shall have a tenure of two years. The membership of which shall be automatically renewed or replaced when due. The appointment shall be nullified if a member absents him or herself from the full SITC meeting for two consecutive times without any reasons whatsoever. In addition, appointed members must attend in person, except under extraordinary circumstances. Membership from the private sector shall be on a personal-to-holder basis, while that of the public sector shall be based on their positions.
