Located on the East Coast of Sabah, Lahad Datu Flour Mill Sdn Bhd is a joint-venture company of SEDCO and Philippines-based Intermilling Corporation. Equipped with advanced machinery and laboratory equipment, its plant is capable of producing all types of high quality wheat flour products to meet the needs of all end-users - household and industrial. Began operation in 2000, it has a milling capacity of 300 metric tons per day to cater for domestic and regional markets.

A majority owned company of SEDCO, Nippon Paint (Sabah) Sdn Bhd commenced production in 1982. Its plant is capable of producing 3,000 metric tons of 'Nippon' paint per annum for decorative, protective and industrial uses.

SEDCO in partnership with Tasek Cement Bhd and Sabah Ports Authority, formed the Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd to manufacture cement for the local market since 1986. The first and only cement grinding plant in Sabah, it has an annual production capacity of 900,000 metric tons.

In collaboration with Kuok (S'pore) Ltd, PPB Oil Palms Bhd andSawit Kinabalu Bhd, SEDCO set up Agri-Sabah Fertilizer Sdn Bhd to produce compound and mixed fertilizers for Sabah market since 1993. The primary objective is to make available to the agricultural sector in the State and the rest of Malaysia, a reliable and competitive source of quality fertilizer.

SEDCO pioneered the ceramic tile industry in Sabah by setting up a tile manufacturing plant in Labuan which commenced operation in 1986. The Hong Leong Group later participated in the company which is now known as Guocera Tile Industries (Labuan) Sdn Bhd. The company has an annual production capacity of 1.4 million sq. meter of ceramic tiles which are meant for domestic and overseas markets.

Steel Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, a joint venture with Southern Steel Bhd, Lion Corporation Bhd and Kiongsing Group, commenced manufacturing of steel bars for local market in 1995. Its plant is capable of producing 180,000 metric tons of steel products per annum.

Commenced operation in 1979, Kinabalu Motor Assembly Sdn Bhd is the sole authorised assembler of Isuzu vehicles for Sabah and Sarawak. Today, it is capable of producing 10,000 unit of vehicles per annum. Also undertakes the assembly of other makes of vehicles on contract basis.

SEDCO holds stake in Mega First Corporation Bhd whose diverse activities include engineering and manufacturing of transportation components; marketing of heavy equipment, part and accessories; quarrying; mining; and property development.
