KOTA KINABALU: Sabah State Secretary, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Khalil Bin Datu Hj. Jamalul today announced three senior appointments in the civil service.

Datuk Ignatius Bantoi, former Permanent Secretary of the Social Services Ministry, has assumed the post of Deputy State Secretary (II). His post has been filled by Encik Gregory Joitol, former deputy director of the Human Resource Development Bureau. 

Puan Noni Said, former director of the Sabah State Museum, took over from Datu Tigabelas Datu Zainal Abidin as Permanent Secretary of the Youth and Sports Ministry. Datu Tigabelas has assumed the post of State Archives Director. 

Former Museum Deputy Director, Joseph Guntavid, has been promoted to Museum Director. 

Khalil made this announcement at the 72nd Permanent Secretary Meeting officiated by Chief Minister Tan Sri Bernard Dompok.

In his speech, Khalil said such meeting, held regularly once in two months, was necessary to discuss policy matters and programs that need to be coordinated and implemented. 

It was also a venue for permanent secretaries to exchange ideas and discuss new state and federal government directives for the civil service.
