RAFTING: A journey of approximately two hours ( half-hour by road and 1 hour 30 minutes by train) from the lodge takes you to an exiting adventure of white water rafting at the Padas river. The journey by train takes you through the beautiful gorges along Murut villages ( indigenous to this area) and rainforest vegetation. Thereafter begin the experiance of being hurtle through a torrent of water crashing around huge boulders and forming a tumble of chaotic waves.

The adventure of trills and excitement surging through rapids lasts about 2 hours. Thereafter you will be treated to a delicious barbecue lunch before boarding the train for the homeward journey back to the lodge.

SNAKE ISLAND: Pulau Tiga Park is about 30 minutes  boat ride from town of Kuala Penyu. The Park consist of the main island of Pulau Tiga, Kalampunian Besar ( now only a sand bar and Kalampunian Kecil or Snake Island.Some of the most beautiful coral reefs are found in Pulau Tiga and contain species not found in the west coast. Active mud volcanoes are also found on the island. The island supports an assortment of animals such as the long tail macaque. Birds such as the megapodes and varieties of reptiles and amphibians are also found.

About a kilometer off the main island lies the Snake Island. The main inhabitans of this island are the Yellow-Lipped sea Krait.

TEMPURONG SEASIDE LODGE: Tucked away at the Klias Peninsula Coast, this lovely little lodge is a 2-hour drive from the city of Kota Kinabalu. The lodge was build with a blend of modern and " Kampung " design, has 12 cozy rooms and sits on top of a hill over-looking the South China sea.With it's long verandah and open deck one can have a full view of the white sandy beach and pristine clear water with the famous Pulau Tiga Island ( site of the "survivor" series) in the distance horizon. It can accommodate up to a maximum of 25 guest at any one time. Rooms are equip with ceiling fans, private bathrooms with hot water.

A variety of Chinese and Malaysian homecooked meals are served. To quench your thirst, there is a boat shaped bar. Meet friendly village folks by riding into the sunset along the beach or cycle your way around the sorrounding villages. Horses and mountain bikes are available for hire. For sea lovers, snorkeling spots are aplenty.
