In response to the Government policy in encouraging the usage of Information Technology, the Information Superhighway or Internet has given the Council the opportunity to disseminate and share important information with the public at large with regards to the functions and services provided by the District Council.
Since the functions of the Council is closely related to the local communities, be they are local residents, business investors or visitors to this district, it is my earnest hope that this webpage will be of use to provide needed information that are accurate and easily available. The Council will endeavour to satisfy the need of the public at large, and especially the rate payers, by providing the latest and up to date information about the Council.
