KOTA KINABALU: The State government is pursuing various efforts and programmes to develop more scholars and intellectuals who are not only proficient at reciting the Quran but also capable of rejuvenating research and development on the vast treasure of knowledge contained in the Quran to achieve both spiritual and material success.

30/JUN/2010 Al-Quran Learning Centre to be built in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: An Al-Quran Learning Centre will be built in the lower interior area of Sabah and is expected to be completed under the 10th Malaysia Plan.
   Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said the centre, which will be equipped with modern learning and teaching facilities, would not only be able to produce students who are able to recite the Al-Quran, but also well versed in other knowledge-based disciplines.
