24/APRIL/2014 : Deputy High Commissioner of Australia to Malaysia - Jane Duke in discussion with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman at his office in Wisma Innoprise today. Jane who's on her fifth visit to Sabah found the state to be beautiful with warm and friendly people. Other issues discussed included possible areas of cooperation especially in education. "Australia will embark upon a revise Colombo Plan whereby we will send our students to universities in Malaysia including in Sabah and proceed to internship in the country," she said. Meanwhile, Musa said the development of education was a priority in the overall development of the country. "It's also our agenda to further reduce the development gap between rural and urban areas. This includes providing jobs, affordable housing and infrastructure such as roads, water and electricity supply," he said.
