  • Actively involved in producing cartoon and comic strips, illustrations and paintings
  • Among the cartoon and comic works produced are “Pa Lang”, “Adventure of Tom”. “The Group of Three” and so on while writing were published under the pen name of “AHMMADONY”, EMWAI SABAH” and.M.Y.
  • Became founder member of AGABA, a cultural body headed by Mr Donald Stephens (Tun Mohd.Fuad Stephens) and Sabah Literary Association.
1959
  • Won an award in a state wide competition of scroll which was presented to the British Royal Family. Introduced to Prince Philip during his official visit to Jesselton, North Borneo.
  • Became one of the founder members of the Sabah Society,Jesselton.
1959-1963
  • Co-founded and elected with Oliver Beavan as the first joint Presidents of the Sabah Art Club.Jesselton.

  • Took part in a number of educational trips to Paris, Rome, Florence, Milan and other art centres in Europe.
1965
  • Worked during summer holidays in a number of agencies and institutions such as the Reader's Digest Office (London), Croydon County Hospital, Allexander Palace Post Office(London) and so on.
1966
  • With three other students under the tutorship of Mr. Keith Kritchlow (Dr) assisted Mr Buckminster Fuller in setting up a special out-door exposition under the theme of The World Population Explosion in a huge fabricated Geodesic Dome at the Bloomsbury Square, London.
1967
  • Undertook teaching practices in art at a number of Comprehensive and Grammar Schools in the Borough of Harringey, London.
1969
  • One of four students from London University selected by the Southend-on-Sea City Council to redesign the City 15 hectre sea front Play Ground.
  • Conducted short courses on film production for H.S.C. students in Harringey London.
1970
  • Returned to Sabah and was appointed as art lecturer, head of Art Department and Vice Principal at Gaya Teachers Training College, Kota Kinabalu.
  • Reactivated Sabah Art Club and was elected as its new President.

  • Lecturing at the Native Voluntary Teachers Training Centre at Kota Kinabalu

  • Helped in forming the first Sabah Teachers Union and was elected as its first president

  • Migrated to U.K,resided in Blackpool, and worked as a.free-lance graphic designer in Blackpool England

  • Returned to Sabah and was appointed as an Administrative Officer at the Chief Minister Department, Kota Kinabalu specially to help in organizing the state wide Sabah 100 Years Celebration in 1981.

  • With several colleaques founded and formed the Sabah Art Society and was elected as its first President.
1982
  • Given the responsiblity.in designing and coordinating the implementation of the unpopular civil servants official uniform
1983
  • Appointed as Chairman of the Gaya Street Cultural Committee.
  • Responsible for designing the new set of Sabah State honours decorations.
  • Responsible for designing and coordinating the supply of ceremonial uniforms for the Sabah ministers and civil servants.
  • Responsible for designing of the Sabah State Crest and Flag (king fisher) including T.Y.T. Official crest,flag and other items.
  • Responsible for designing and coordinating the supply of Sabah's civil servant uniform.
  • Given the responsibility to design Sabah's Official ties, badges and decorative buttons for ministers and civil servents.

  • Established the Sabah Art Gallery which was placed under the administration of the Sabah Sports and Cultural Board and temporarily housed at one of the Sabah Museum's buildings.
