He is perhaps the only Sabah artist known to have taken collage and sculpture or construction art seriously and not just as an experimental or as school children classroom activities. His collage displayed his great sense or gift of composition of forms, shapes lines, textures and colors. A more intriguing display of imagination and ingenuity is being displayed in his sculpture and construction works in which broken down and discarded parts of fans, engines, building materials and so on are being assembled into a fascinating and beautiful creations.
