Welcome to Sabah Water Department (JANS) official website. First and foremost, I would like to congratulate Sabah Water Department Website Publication Committee, for successfully creating this official website. It is hoped that this website would become a platform which able to contribute towards E-knowledge and interactively sharing information. It is also hoped by doing so, the department would be able to achieve excellent service in line with the 11th
Malaysian Plan, which focuses on one of the government’s agenda which are to be more people centred that would be more productive and to have services more effective.
This website is created to be effective and consumer friendly. It is in line with JANS administrative effort to boost the consumers’ understanding and confidence as well as to facilitate the consumers’ affairs online. JANS will keep on providing the consumers with sufficient water supply by building new facilities that can encourage the water supply capacity as well as to provide and improve the water supply systems. It is also JANS intention to provide efficient customer service by being more aware of the consumers’ demand as well as being transparent and professional in order to fulfil JANS’ vision which is “ to become a water utility organisation which is efficient, systematic and world class quality by the year 2020”. The achievement of this vision will be supported by its mission “to provide excellent water supply services for the well being of the public achieved through development and operation of a sustainable water supply systems and facilities that are efficient, green and consumer friendly”.
It is hoped that this website would be able to help the consumers to easily obtain any information about JANS and making the organisation to be more approachable.
